 		 In the summer of 1978, 561 coins were found during archaeological excavations in Uvdal Stave Church in Nore parish, Buskerud. 

Norwegian medieval coins make up most of the find, which also includes a number of Danish, Swedish and German coins from the Middle Ages and more recent times.
