In 1909, approximately 260 coins were found together with unminted silver in Måge in Ullensvang, Hordaland. The coins were found by some boys playing on a rock-strewn slope. One hundred coins and some of the unminted silver were found under a steatite (soapstone) bowl that was turned up side down. The remaining coins were found during subsequent investigations by museum workers.

The find included a total of 240 Norwegian pennies from the reign of Harald Hardråde (1047-1066) and Olav Kyrre (1067-1093).

Dating: after ca. 1080.
