In the
course of archaeological excavations from May to September 1979, 368 coins
were found in Høre Church in Vang parish in Hurum, Oppland.
A small proportion of the coins are from Denmark, Sweden and Germany. Medieval coins are the most numerous, and the oldest are bracteates minted under King Sverre (1177-1202). |
