At some point before 1890, 346 Danish and Norwegian coins were found in a rock strewn slope in Bymarken in Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag. The coins date from 1694 to 1853. The find also included a significant sum of money in Norwegian ten and five taler notes. These were redeemed by the Central Bank of Norway.
